Embracing God
Embracing Obedience
Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.
Galatians 6:9

To trade in complaining for embracing is to allow God to write a chapter in your life called "BEAUTIFUL". To trade in worry and doubt for trust is to allow God to show you that you are loved. To trade in our wants and ways for the instructions and ways of the Holy Ghost is to walk in freedom, tranquility, love, and peace. Jesus came so that we may have life and life more abundantly. How do we have that life? By yielding, embracing, and finding the joy in God's plan for our life. By surrendering to His plan with a continuous posture of "not my will but thy will be done".

He knows the way that we take. He is the author and finisher of our faith. He goes before us and makes our crooked paths straight. In yielding and obedience, there is safety followed by a peace that surpasses all understanding.

"We go up and over the wait by remembering God is always on time and never too late."
No time can compare to the timing of God. God has a way of bringing everything together at the perfect time. Some of you may of heard the ol' saying "He may not come when you want Him, but He will be there right on time". What do we do in the wait? The wait for God's promises to come to pass.
We press into what the Apostle Paul said...
Not that I speak from [any personal] need, for I have learned to be content [and self-sufficient through Christ, satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or uneasy] regardless of my circumstances. Philippians 4:11
We don't lose sight of today by being worried about tomorrow.
We count our blessings and not our problems. We shift our perspective to the positive. We surrender our "having to know everything" while receiving the Word that says...
“Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10
Be still and know that God will finish this good work that He started in you.
Be still and know that by His stripes you are healed.
Be still and know that He has not given you a spirit of fear, but power, love, & a sound mind.
Be still and know that He is taking you from pain to purpose.
Be still and know that when you confess your mistakes He will help you not make them again.
Be still and know that He is taking you from bound to better.
Be still and know that He has not brought you this far to leave you.
Be still and know that no weapon that is formed against you will prosper and every tongue that rises up against you in judgement shall be condemed.
Be still and know that you owe nobody an explanation when it comes to your walk of obedience.
Be still and know that as you walk in the steps He has ordered for you, stagnation will never be your portion.
Be still and know divine timing is your portion.
Be still and know that you are not too churchy, you are KINGDOM !!!
I say to you...
Smile with your crooked smile, with that gap in your tooth, or even that yellow smile...
YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.
Be comfortable in the hair that God gave you. Bald? Bald and beautiful! Even those pieces that don't lay down just how you want them to. Even the hair that you say is too thick, too thin, or "just not right." Baby, it's beautiful!!!
YOU ARE UNIQUE.
Be thankful for those clothes. Yes, those clothes that were donated to you. Yes, the ones that aren't named brands. Yes, the ones that don't fit exactly how you want them to. Yes, even when you don't have much and have to put outfits together. We are not settling. We are embracing each chapter.
YOU ARE CREATIVE.
Be grateful for that transportation. Yes, even to the one that doesn't have a car right now. Yes, even when you had to get on that bus. Yes, even when you had to call someone for a ride. Yes, even when you had to walk in the rain and people passed you by. He still made and will continue to make a way for you. It could be worse.
YOU ARE A WOMAN OF GRATITUDE.
There is beauty in the struggle. There is beauty in the wait. There is beauty in being different.
God has not forgotten about us. So, let's shift our perception in the wait.
Our prayer this week...
Lord Jesus, forgive me for the times I took any blessing for granted. Thank you for helping me to not see how the world sees but as you see. Thank you, Lord, for downloading gratitude into my spirit. Thank you, Lord, for helping me to acknowledge the beauty in everything. Thank you for the Promises you have spoken over my life. I pray every word that you have spoken over my life lands on good ground in the name of Jesus. As I wait for the promises to come to pass, as I wait to see the promises manifest, help me to be content in the wait. Help me to cherish the promise maker - YOU - more than the promise. Lord, help me to submit to your instructions completely. Lord, help me to surrender to your timing without complaining. Thank you for reminding me that all things work together for those who love you and are called according to your purpose. Thank you Lord for calling me for your purpose, help me to always answer the call.

As I wait for Your promises to come to pass, help me to not be so concerned with my own life that I am distracted from being a blessing to others. Thank you, Lord, for the refreshing of Your Word that tells me to sow peace in the life of others. Thank ou that as you encourage me in the wait, I can encourage others. Thank You for reminding me that as you pour into me, I am to pour into others.
Thank You Lord for making everything beautiful in its time.
In Jesus Name,
AMEN
